Populations
I have experience with: Adolescents from mainstream high schools
as well as "alternative schools", primary school children,
women recovering from spousal abuse and sexual abuse, in-patient
and outpatient psychiatric hospital work with adolescents and
adults, groups for depression and anger management. Current
Employment
Program Coordinator for the East Calgary Youth Art Project. This
project focuses on art as a tool for community development and
individual self-esteem, leadership, team building and art skills.
I am also a part time art therapist at Wood's Homes- Evergreen
Centre. I will be developing art based anger management programs
for youth aged 14-17 years initially. In the future additional
groups will be created to focus on self-esteem, coping mechanisms,
self-identity, and attachment.

Research
Oncology - the role of art therapy in enhancing the healing process;
further anger research with adolescents and attachment issues.
